Prince

Meet Prince.  This guy arrived at an overcrowded shelter in SC where he has been staying in an outdoor kennel eagerly awaiting someone special to see him and volunteer to foster or adopt him.  No one in SC has come forward and so he is now hoping for Worthy Dog to help him out.

Prince was given his name because he's a gentleman.  He's described as a happy, playful affectionate guy who gets along with other dogs.  He's developed a case of "happy tail" while at the shelter.  What's that?  Well, it is when a dog is so happy and congenial that he has literally wagged his tail raw.  When he sees people, he can't help but show them how fun and gentle he is, that he has been hitting it repeatedly on the side of the kennel.  Until he leaves the shelter, it probably won't heal.  He is gentle, respectful and polite.  He gets along with both kids and other dogs.  We don't know about cats but could have him tested, if needed.

Please consider applying to foster or adopt Prince.  He's got his bags packed and he's ready to leave the south and hop on the next bus heading north.  Apply today.  A guy this great is too good to pass up.

You can also help save dogs like this one by becoming a foster, providing a rescue dog with a temporary home and giving them the love and care they need until they are permanently adopted. Every person who fosters is directly responsible for saving the life of a dog, because we can only save as many dogs as we have foster families available to welcome them into their homes. If you think you might be interested in becoming a foster and want to learn more, please go to http://foster.worthydog.org and fill out an application.
