Description:

A5245588 Ralphie | Dachshund Mix
A5245588 Ralphie is a funny 5-year-old fawn male Dachshund mix who came in to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray on December 23, 2018. Weighing 11 lbs, Ralphie is such a gentleman. He is good on a leash, politely walking by his handler’s side. While Ralph is overwhelmed at the shelter, he quickly warmed up to his handler and everyone else that met him.  He has a kennel mate that is his size, so we suspect he’ll be just fine with other smaller dogs and he’s pretty curious about big ones as well. Ralphie shows signs of housebreaking and has a medium level of energy. He also loves human touch and interaction. He’s going to be both great to walk and wonderful to hang out in your lap and cuddle with you. Oh Ralphie, Ralphie, such a cutie-pie looking for his forever home. Someone has taken good care of him and it’s sad that as a stray he landed in the shelter. We know he’ll be great in any home as an indoor forever companion. Won’t you come down and take him home as soon as you can so he’s warm and safe and happy with you?
