Lima Bean

Lima Bean is a spunky little girl! She can be vocal in her kennel, but it’s friendly and her way of saying “hi” - she just wants to get your attention so you’ll leash her up and take her outside. Lima loves to have fun and is like a little jumping bean - she wants ALL of the attention. This girl loves treats but didn’t seem to know any commands. Lima Bean is not shy and hopped right into a volunteer's lap for pets and kisses. She allowed handling all over and was really into soaking up all of the attention she could get. She has lots of playful energy and is still quite puppy-like. Her surrender form states that her owners had to move and were not allowed to keep at their new apartment. Lima Bean has been good with strangers entering her home in the past, but would occasionally bark at strangers on walks. She has not lived with children but has lived with other dogs. Lima Bean would be home alone for approx. 4 hours a day and spent her nights in a crate. Owners also stated that she loves stuffed animals and bones, had puppies at some point, and is “a nice friendly dog, and smart.”
