Hi, my name is Duke and I'm 26 months old.  I was surrendered for adoption by my owners to Bond County Humane Society.  I could be mistaken for a Corgi with my short legs, but I am a Beagle/Golden Retriever mix.  My previous owners separated and could not take me with them.  My previous family consisted of 2 adults and 3 children.  The children's ages were 2, 10 and 12.  My owners said I would play with the children and was gentle with them.  I love to play with toys.  I throw them up in the air and catch them and do it again.  I love to run and play fetch, but I don't bring the toy back.  My owners said I am a good, obedient dog and always want to be around people.  My new home should have a fenced yard for my play time. You can see me playing in action in my video.  I have been OK with the dogs I have met at the shelter.  I am crate trained and house trained.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $200.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohs.petfinder.com.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.
