Benny is a five month old Catahoula mix with a beautiful tiger striped coat pattern.  He weighs 27 pounds and is very friendly and social with people and other dogs.  Benny is the perfect hiking and running companion.  He is an awesome family dog for older children and teenagers (he may be too exuberantly happy for little kids).  Benny was surrendered to rescue by the person who rescued him, starving and cold, off the side of the highway.  He is neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for parasites,  heartworm negative and started on monthly heartworm and flea preventive.  Benny's adoption fee is a donation to the rescue in the amount of $450.  The video was taken at the vet's office, where everybody loved him.
