Ozzy

A sweet boy looking for a patient owner and doggy sibling

Ozzy is a very sweet boy who is looking for a patient owner who is willing to help him become the dog we know he can be.

He was abandoned on a farm when he was young and had very little human interaction before he was rescued. He has spent the last few months in his foster home learning how to be a real dog! Despite having spent most of his life outside, he has learned that he loves being an inside dog. Ozzy absolutely loves playing with his doggy friends and is learning that toys are pretty great. He is still learning how to trust humans, but has come a very long way since he came to his foster home. He hasn't learned to like "normal" pets (he gets nervous and tries to hide when he sees hands reaching for him) but he loves when you pet him with your feet.

Ozzy is still very nervous on a leash, so he needs an owner with a fenced in yard. We would prefer that he go to a home with another dog so he can learn from them and they can help reinforce that humans are good. Ozzy is housetrained and crate trained (although he has not been staying in a crate in his foster home). He would do best in a home with no young children. He would probably spend most of his time trying to hide from them since they won't know to take it slow with him.

Ozzy is not a "cuddly" dog, but he enjoys spending time around his foster parents and will make a wonderful companion for the right family.
