ALVIN

United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.

Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

Description:

A5163209 Alvin is a smiley 2-year-old fawn-with-white male Pit Bull mix who was found as a stray and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on March 31st. Weighing 71 lbs, this handsome boy wags his tail non-stop when he’s with his humans. He is kissy, friendly and well-socialized. Alvin walks respectably on leash (but could use a little polishing to perfect his manners), knows how to sit  on command and seems to be housebroken. He is polite with other dogs of all sizes and genders; in terms of his permanent living arrangement, we think he would be happiest paired with a female dog or as the king of his own castle. Alvin will bring a lot of joy into a forever home in which he is a cherished family member.
