Meet Azalea! She is an approximately 50 pound, beautiful sweet petite grey and white Staffie/hound mix; she is fully vetted, healthy, dog friendly, sweet, obedient and about 5 years old. Azalea was dumped at a high kill shelter in California by the family whom she loved and trusted for 5 years of her life. Poor darling was betrayed and abandoned. What a travesty, given the love and loyalty she showed them all those years. She is spayed and a total mush...OH and a total wiggle butt! Azalea is respectful and non reactive to other dogs. She has met and briefly cohabited with cats and other critters, however, slow introductions are recommended.

Azalea loves car rides and was loved by all the volunteers who transported her across the country. Being as she has been in a shelter, boarding, transport, and several overnight stays during her journey to the East Coast, Azalea needs structure and some reinforcement with her basic commands/getting used to her environment. She would appreciate patience. love and stability. Thunderstorms are her only nemesis. She needs to feel secure and safe when they are imminent. I will entertain transport for a serious committed adopter. She is currently being fostered in NJ, but again, transport to a loving furever home will gladly be arranged. Please contact us for a playdate with Ms. Azalea. You will find your furever friend and companion: Lynette Tropp (201-724-6181) or Ashley Caron (508-341-8611).
