I followed Odin’s journey on social media.
My husband and I knew we wanted a dog and I wanted a bully breed. I was at work when I saw a post with Odin under the Christmas tree at his foster home. And I cried. I just knew he was the one for our family. I talked to my husband that night and he asked “why this dog?” And I told him “he’s our dog. I just know it.”
When we met him he walked out he dropped his bone for my husband and kissed my face.
Like Jill, I have a soft spot for the ones that have gone through the most. Odin had been a stray dog, hit by a car and had undergone FHO surgery to help with the broken hip. He also suffered from road rash as well.
Odin is recovering very nicely. And he’s very loved by my amazing vet staff at work. He loves bones and kong balls.
His tail wags insanely when we come home.
He’s our baby. And we am over the moon for him.
Our thanks to The Moon Dog Farm for being such incredible foster parents to Odin. We can not say thank you enough for the hard work and countless hours they put in helping animals.
